CAFF Grants, also known as Charter Advocate Funding Formula Grants are the bread and butter of what we do here at Student Advocacy Union Inc.

CAFF 2 Grants are issued exclusively to SAU charters at different high schools depending on a number of factors such as the amount of members they have, the dues they pay, and their cash assets in ASB inorder to finance their student activities centered around promoting student leadership and civic engagement throughout their campus.

CAFF Grants typically can range anywhere from $50-$600 depending on the specific charter.

Supplemental Grants are a type of grant issued by the Board of Directors to different SAU charters on a case by case basis based on demonstrated need. Because CAFF Grants are meant to ensure that each charter are able to meet their financial necessities, supplemental grants only provide a discretionary quantity in addition to those funds. These grants are typically available for things such as

1. Expensive projects that promote student leadership or educate the merits civic engagement 

2. Expenses that aren't met by the CAFF grant however still only finance projects related to our charitable nature
